VOLUNTEER

We at Badilisha welcome you to join us in Kenya to become part of our community.

It is our desire to network with local, national, regional and international organizations workingto improve Earth Care, Personal Spiritual Growth, NVC, School Support, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and HIV/Aids.

If you would like to organize workshops, seminars and conferences to educate, inform and bring together stakeholders interested in any of the above mentioned areas please contact us to schedule a time when you can visit us in Kenya.

Please contact Evans at evans@badilisha.org for more information.

ACCOMMODATIONS & COST: Volunteers will live with host families and contribute to the host family in terms of food and other daily expenses in a cost sharing basis. Each volunteer will be assigned to stay with a host family. All other issues relating to cost will be handled between the volunteer and the foundation board. Prior to arrival the board will negotiate with the willing host families about the cost, terms and conditions as each volunteer's stay is unique. Our hosting program is a way of supporting local families and creating an authentic Kenyan living experience during the volunteer's stay.

TRAVEL:  The Road to visit us begins by arriving in Nairobi; flying to Kisumu, travel by bus for 2 hours to the Ferry, which will take you to Rusinga Island followed by a short taxi ride to our Ecovillage.
