Badilisha has been organized to make a valuable contribution to the social, economic, emotional, mental, spiritual and physical health of Rusinga Island, Kenya.  It is our vision to achieve this through the following departments:

EARTH CARE: Establish and maintain a community in and from which Earth Care and environmental conservation will be supported in all thinkable aspects. Grow food on basis of perm culture, to promote and undertake perm culture education, to establish a resource centre, to organize research and outreach programs and develop ecotourism.

PERSONAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH: Create an environment in which people can get in touch with who they really are, discover their potential and to help them in turning their potential into a gift to the world.  Contribute in any way to the development of gender equality and women empowerment.

NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION (NVC): Create a local, National and International basis from which Nonviolent Communication (as developed by Marshall Rosenberg) can be integrated into the local, national and international community.
Participate in society, conflict transformation, mediation and reconciliation, based on NVC.
Create and maintain a community where everybody’s needs matter and will be negotiated to meet by applying NVC, internally as well as externally.

SCHOOL ASSISTANCE: Assist schools in funding to enable them to offer circumstances where teachers and pupils are able to focus on learning and playing only.

ORPHAN & VULNERABLE CHILDREN SUPPORT: Create a sponsor network around the world to enable orphans and vulnerable children to be raised and educated in a safe and loving (local) environment.

HIV/AIDS: Generate actions towards reduction of the pandemic HIV/AIDS, and to restore self-confidence in people who suffer from this.
